Everything you need to know about running Pointing Poker sessions with your team.
Getting started
Create a Room
Enter a room name, your name, and choose a voting system (Fibonacci, T-shirt, or Standard).
Invite Your Team
Share the room link or Room ID with your team members. They'll enter their names to join.
Vote on Stories
Team members select their estimates by clicking voting cards. Votes remain hidden until revealed.
View Results
Click 'Reveal Votes' to see everyone's estimates, plus average, median, and distribution stats.
Frequently asked questions
Creating a room is simple:
- Go to the home page
- Enter a name for your room (e.g., "Sprint 42 Planning")
- Enter your name
- Choose a voting system:
- Fibonacci — best for technical work (0,1,2,3,5,8,13,21)
- T-shirt — best for early discovery (XS–XXL)
- Standard — linear scale (0–10)
- Click "Start session"
You'll be taken to your new room where you can share the link with your team.
